The Creative Clinic report
The One Nation Reggae Festival Creative Clinic, held on 27 November 2025, served as a strategic event designed to promote the growth and transformation of Sierra Leone’s cultural, creative, and tourism sectors. Facilitated by The Betts Firm Consult in collaboration with national and diaspora partners, the Clinic brought together cultural custodians, creative practitioners, policymakers, musicians, academics, youth leaders, development actors, and representatives from the Sierra Leonean, Caribbean and Wider Atlantic diasporas.
The purpose was to provide a structured platform for dialogue, knowledge-sharing, capacity-building, and collaborative problem-solving — all aimed at strengthening Sierra Leone’s positioning as a culturally vibrant and globally competitive nation.
As countries across the world embrace cultural identity as a driver of economic growth, tourism development, and national branding, Sierra Leone stands at a pivotal moment to harness its rich heritage, youthful creative energy, and diasporic connections to shape a distinct and compelling cultural narrative.
